Kanso London is a London-based studio creating functional furniture and interior pieces rooted in simplicity, honest materials, quiet lines, and craftsmanship designed to endure. Each piece is designed to bring calm, warmth, and permanence into everyday spaces.

The first collection

Ten functional objects in birch plywood, designed around the things people actually keep close — records, books, keys, a phone, a candle. Simple forms, honest material, rounded edges, hand-finished. Currently being prototyped in the workshop ahead of the first production run.

Sustainably sourced birch plywood in 18mm, 12mm and 6mm. Chosen for its stability, its exposed edge, and the fact that it holds a crisp line.

Finish

Hardwax oil. Natural, durable, repairable — and easy to look after without anything specialist.

Detail

CNC-cut for precision, then rounded and hand-finished. Made in London, built to last rather than to be replaced.
